      Christian Grinschgl has been a KPMG partner since 2016 and has been working primarily at the Linz office since 2018. He also handles client assignments at the Vienna and Graz offices. He has over 20 years of experience in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements of national and international regional banks and banking groups. As a result, he has extensive specialist knowledge of national and international accounting for banks and supervisory law. He also specializes in auditing and advising FinTech companies, in particular service providers and issuers of crypto assets.

      His main responsibilities as engagement partner include coordinating and monitoring the audit process and ensuring smooth communication with the management board, the audit committee, and the accounting and other departments. Christian Grinschgl is also function risk partner for the audit business area and ethics & independence partner in the KPMG Austria Group.

      He is a member of the Expert Committee for Banks at the Chamber of Tax Advisors and Auditors (KSW) and chairman of the Crypto Asset Service Provider working group at the Institute of Austrian Auditors (iwp).
