Werner Gedlicka is an auditor and tax consultant at KPMG Austria. He audits and advises companies on financial reporting in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS as well as on non-financial reporting in accordance with ESRS and their assurance. As a leading member of the Department of Professional Practice (DPP), he is responsible for technical quality assurance, develops auditing and accounting guidelines and accompanies complex issues in national and international projects.
His clients benefit from many years of practical experience in auditing and accounting advisory, especially at the interface of accounting, regulation and governance. In addition, he shares his knowledge as a specialist author and lecturer and is actively involved in professional committees to further develop standards and strengthen best practices.
