Christoph Karer is Deputy Head of Audit. In this role, he attaches particular importance to providing clients with tailor-made, innovative audits and services and to continuously developing the approach in order to create security and offer genuine added value.
He has many years of experience in auditing and advising small and medium-sized enterprises, family businesses, and large, listed, national, and international companies and corporations. He specializes in construction and real estate companies as well as in the industrial sector. He heads the “Construction and Real Estate” line of business throughout Austria and is responsible for the construction key figure comparisons published annually by KPMG Austria.
Proximity to companies is particularly important to him in order to jointly develop tailor-made solutions for complex issues and drive innovation. Thanks to his extensive lecturing and practical experience, he has in-depth expertise in national and international accounting (UGB, IFRS), sustainability, internal control systems, and risk management. His goal is to support clients in successfully managing their companies and strengthening stakeholder confidence.
