      Rebecca is the General Counsel of KPMG in Canada, on the Global General Counsel Steering Group of KPMG International, and on the Management Committee of KPMG Law LLP.  She oversees the Office of General Counsel, a team of legal professionals handling the firm’s commercial, governance, regulatory, human resources and dispute legal matters.

      Prior to joining KPMG in Canada, Rebecca was a litigation partner at a major Canadian law firm practicing corporate and commercial litigation.  Her industry recognition includes the Litigation Management Award of the Canadian General Counsel Awards, Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40, and a Litigation Lawyer to Watch in Lexpert’s Guide to the Leading US/Canada Cross-Border Litigation Lawyers in Canada.

      Rebecca is a life-long volunteer, having served as a director on a number of non-profit boards.  She is a frequent speaker at legal symposiums, served as Chair of the In-House Practice Group of The Advocates Society, and provides mentorship to lawyers through the Osgoode Women’s Network and KPMG’s Network of Women.
