John is KPMG’s National Private Capital Leader in Canada, Global Institutional Investors Group Leader, and Head of Deal Advisory for the Americas region. He brings extensive experience advising pension plans, private equity firms and institutional investors on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. He also serves as the Canadian leader for the Transaction Services practice.
John has experience across a broad range of industries, including retail, software, media, manufacturing, gaming, healthcare and seniors’ housing. He previously served on KPMG Canada’s Board of Directors.
Prior to joining KPMG, John worked in a corporate development role at a software publisher where he supported on acquisition activities. His experience also includes working in the mergers and acquisitions group of a corporate finance dealer, where he advised companies on acquisition and divestiture mandates.
