Carlo is the Leader of KPMG’s Financial Services practice in Western Canada. He has more than 30 years experience working with local, national and multinational companies. He is primarily focused on serving Financial Services clients such as chartered banks, credit unions, investment funds and investment dealers. Carlo is recognized as a leader in the credit union industry nationally and in this role he has acted as Lead Audit Engagement Partner and Engagement Quality Control Review Partner on our most significant clients across the country. Carlo also has significant international experience having spent five years in the United Kingdom serving global banking clients.
Carlo was previously the Partner in Charge of Audit for the Greater Vancouver Area, overseeing 700 audit professionals in six offices. He has also served as a member of KPMG Canada’s Board of Directors. Additionally, Carlo was a member of the Board of the KPMG Foundation which provides an avenue for KPMG and our people to give back to local communities. He is an active member of the business community through his involvement in not-for-profit boards.
