      Kristen specializes in tax litigation and dispute resolution. She represents taxpayers before the courts, advises taxpayers on communications with tax authorities, and provides legal risk assessments on potential transactions.

      At KPMG Law, Kristen collaborates with KPMG’s diverse range of professionals to resolve complex tax questions and deliver innovative approaches to her clients. She dedicates meticulous detail to considering all perspectives, preparing evidence, and presenting arguments.  

      Kristen has experience in a broad range of tax areas, including transfer pricing, foreign accrual property income, the general anti-avoidance rule, insurer and policyholder taxation, registered investments, scientific research & experimental development claims, derivative assessments, expense deductibility, charitable donations, limitation periods, and penalties.
