Carson is an Audit Partner at KPMG in Canada's Saskatoon office providing audit and business advisory services to private businesses and reporting issuer clients. He has served as a key figure for numerous financial statement audits, with a focus on the commodity and financial service industries.
Carson works regularly with Private Business GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP audit engagements under PCAOB and Canadian Auditing Standards, including the oversight of component teams. With Carson’s client-first mindset he has supported the growth agendas of numerous clients through acquisitions and access to a variety of sources of capital including IPOs, debt and equity financings.
