      Pierre assists insurance companies in dealing strategically with reserving, risk and capital management issues beyond compliance and in optimizing their growth strategies by taking advantage of market opportunities given their own strengths. His team of actuaries also supports the audit professionals serving the insurance clients of KPMG. Pierre is a partner in KPMG’s Insurance practice with more than 25 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry in Canada and in the US, including as an executive with two of the leading Canadian insurers and as a consultant with a large international consulting firm.  He is contributing to developing knowledge as a member of the Risk Management and Capital Requirement committee of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and as a member of the Dynamic Risk Modelling committee of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
