John joined KPMG in 1997 after obtaining his Honours B. Comm at McMaster University. John has worked in the Hamilton office Audit practice since joining the firm and was appointed to the partnership in 2008. John serves a variety of clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors providing audit, review, notice to reader and accounting advisory services. He is actively involved in the community serving as the Chair of the Board of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Board of ProAction Cops & Kids, an Advisory Board member of the CPA/DeGroote Centre for the Promotion of Accounting Research and Education and the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario Auditor Advisory Committee.
