Mag is a partner in the Department of Professional Practice at KPMG Canada, where she has been resolving complex technical accounting issues with teams and companies from across Canada for over 12 years. Mag is the Canadian Leasing Technical Topic Team lead and is a member of KPMG's Global Leasing Technical Topic team, where she works with professionals around the globe analyzing and interpreting evolving transactions under the existing leasing standards, and evaluating the implications of the new leasing standards under IFRS and US GAAP. Mag is also a member of KPMG's Financial Instruments Topic Team, where she works primarily in the debt/equity space analyzing the appropriate recognition of convertible instruments and other financing arrangements.
