      Laurie’s family office skills are based on her 25 years’ experience in accounting, financial planning and tax, including over 10 years as the Director, Finance & Administration of a single-family office for one of Canada’s wealthiest families.  Laurie has an expansive range of practical experience in personal and corporate income tax, cash flow and budgeting, credit management, asset management, estate planning, insurance, and cross-border personal and corporate tax issues.

      Laurie is a director with the KPMG Family Office practice.  She specializes in the management of the client experience and service delivery of a family’s accounting, reporting, and administrative requirements. Laurie has broad experience with family dynamics and governance, philanthropy and impact, risk management, and deal advisory, and supports all functional areas of the KPMG Family Office.
