Andrew Watson is an audit partner based in KPMG’s Ottawa office with over 17 years’ experience in public accounting providing assurance and general business advisory services to a wide range of companies, public and private, that report under International Financial Reporting Standards and Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises. Andrew has experience in varying industries including building, construction and real estate, retail, manufacturing and telecommunications. Andrew has assisted his clients in buying and selling businesses, evaluating internal control processes, monitoring and budgeting cash flows and providing support when his clients are sourcing financing. Andrew has provided a wide range of services to clients including managing transitions to complex environments and the adoption of complex accounting standards including those related to business combinations, revenue recognition and equity transactions.
