Dan is a Partner and National Technology Sector Leader at KPMG Canada. With over 25 years of experience, Dan has served as an adviser to numerous high growth, start-up through public technology companies. Dan frequently supports clients on planning towards, and executing on, M&A and financing transactions. His work spans initial public offerings (IPOs) and cross-listings in Canada and the US, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, financings, and conversions between IFRS Accounting Standards and US GAAP. Dan leads cross-functional teams across financial reporting, tax, corporate governance, internal control, and systems to help companies execute going-public transactions and operate successfully as public companies afterward. Dan is very active in supporting entrepreneurs in the Canadian technology sector, and is a founding partner of the C100 Association. He is a frequent presenter in Canada and abroad at TMT industry events, including KPMG’s Cloud Summit, Silicon Valley Bank’s CFO Summit, global technology and telecom share forums on emerging financial reporting issues, and technology entrepreneur events.
