      Philippa Wilshaw is an experienced Audit Partner with over 30 years of experience and is the Industry Leader for KPMG’s BC Energy and Natural Resources practice. She began her career with KPMG in the UK, moving first to Toronto for two years and then to Vancouver in 2005. Philippa is lead engagement partner on global audits, primarily in sectors related to natural resources. Her focus is on serving publicly listed companies in the United States and Canada through which she is experienced with public entity regulatory requirements including those arising from PCAOB audits, including audits of internal controls over financial reporting, SEC and Canadian securities filing requirements, a broad base of IFRS and US GAAP and the public offering process. Philippa is proud to serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors of KPMG in Canada. She participates in a number of charitable and community bodies including being a former member of the Finance Committee for the Minerva Foundation of BC and a former member of the Board of Resource Works, a non-profit society that helps bring information to the public about the role of the resources sector in British Columbia.
