Matt is a Partner in KPMG Canada’s Deal Advisory practice and a Managing Director of KPMG Corporate Finance Inc. Since joining KPMG’s Winnipeg office in 2011, he has advised clients on both buy and sell side mid-market M&A transactions, financings, and financial due diligence mandates. He takes pride in serving as a trusted advisor to private company business owners across Western Canada.
Matt’s experience includes advising on individual enterprise transactions ranging in value from $10 million to more than $500 million, including cross border matters and sales to public companies and private equity funds. His industry experience is broad and spans manufacturing, agriculture, retail, healthcare, industrial markets, business services, dealerships, food and beverage, and transportation.
In addition to his transaction advisory work, Matt has significant valuation experience, including the preparation of valuation reports for strategic options analyses, divestiture planning, tax reorganizations, share based compensation plans, and other purposes.
