On August 1st, 2023 by Order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) (the "Receivership Order"), KPMG Inc. was appointed receiver and manager (the "Receiver") of DMI Exim Limited, pursuant to section 243 of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended, and under Section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43.

DMI Exim Limited (“DMI”) filed an assignment in bankruptcy on July 28, 2023 and KPMG Inc. was appointed as trustee of the bankrupt estate (the “Trustee”) by the official receiver. The Trustees appointment was affirmed by DMI’s creditors at the First Meeting of Creditors, which was held via a Microsoft Teams conference on August 17, 2023 at 11:00 am Eastern Time.
