DOZR Inc.

On October 9, 2025, by Order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the "Receivership Order"), KPMG Inc. was appointed receiver (the "Receiver") of DOZR Inc. (the “Debtor”), pursuant to section 243(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. B-3, as amended and section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. C.43, as amended.

On October 30, 2025 the Ontario Superior Court of Justice granted an order approving a sale transaction contemplated by the asset purchase agreement between the Receiver and 17416512 Canada Ltd. The sale transaction closed on October 31, 2025.

WEPP provides payment up to a maximum amount for eligible unpaid wages, vacation pay, termination pay and severance pay to former employees of an employer who is in receivership. The Receiver will be making an application to WEPP on behalf of all eligible former employees of the Debtor. The Receiver will mail to all eligible former employees certain additional information regarding WEPP by December 15, 2025.
