      CCAA Proceedings

On August 8, 2024, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta (the "Court") issued an order (the "Initial Order") pursuant to the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act ("CCAA"). The Initial Order provided for certain relief, including a stay of proceedings against Freedom Cannabis Inc. (the "Company") and ordered that KPMG Inc. be appointed as Court-appointed monitor of the Applicants (in such capacity, the "Monitor").

On October 23, 2025, the Monitor served on the service list in the CCAA Proceedings a certificate (the "Monitor's Termination Certificate") certifying among other things that the Monitor has completed its duties in the CCAA Proceedings and as such, the CCAA Proceedings are terminated and KPMG Inc. is discharged from its duties as Monitor of the Applicant. A copy of the Monitor's Termination Certificate can be found below.
