On January 2, 2025, Microb Resources Inc. (“Salt Spring Coffee" or the "Debtor") filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal ("NOI") under subsection 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (the "BIA"). KPMG Inc. ("KPMG") consented to act as trustee under the proposal.
On February 3, 2025, Salt Spring Coffee became bankrupt due to the non-filing of the proposal and KPMG was appointed Trustee of the Estate of the Debtor.
