Marios is the Head of the Advisory Department of KPMG in Cyprus, which spans in 3 function: Risk Consulting, Management Consulting and Deal Advsiory. He has more than 20 years of advisory experience in the Financial Services sector. He has led multiple advisory engagements in the areas of banking risk and regulation and portfolio solutions. During the last 10 years, he was heavily involved in high-profile projects during the banking restructuring in Cyprus such as valuations of banks for bail-in, restructuring of banks follwing State aid, asset quality review, recapitalisation plans, advisory on the sale of NPEs and PEs in all sigificant transactions in Cyprus, mostly on the sell-side. He has also led the development of risk-based supervision framework of supervisory authorities. He is a trainer on various banking themes to board members and executives in the banking sector.
