Tassos studied BSc Accounting and Finance at Warwick University and he is a member of ICAEW. He joined KPMG in Cyprus in 2002 as an auditor and became a Board Member in 2013. He is currently heading the Corporate Services and Global Compliance Management Services departments. He is responsible for the microeconomic and macroeconomic analysis of Cyprus, European and International economies and for providing economic, financial and tax system analysis and data to potential foreign investors. Tassos also possesses extensive experience in the Real Estate industry. In particular, Tassos has a niche capability in deal advisory and in the preparation of feasibility studies, review of valuation, due diligences and restructuring projects. Tassos manages a very broad portfolio of clients ranging in size from small private companies to large listed public companies and high wealth individuals and covering various industry sectors in Nicosia and in Paphos. He is also holder of Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) Advanced and Anti Money Laundering (AML) Certifications. Tassos is also a qualified insolvency practitioner and is a very experienced trainer on a variety of issues for KPMG Academy. Finally, he is a Member of the Council of the Cyprus Red Cross Society.
