      AI Act Implementation

      We classified existing systems and set up processes to ensure compliance with the new regulation. Systems with unacceptable risk were identified and excluded, and rules were established for providers of general-purpose and high-risk AI systems. We briefed and prepared the client for potential inspections by supervisory authorities and minimized the risk of penalties. We also established an efficient AI governance and reduced compliance costs.

      Revenue Forecasting for New Stores

      Using external data and data models, we developed a solution to predict performance of new stores for a client who opens 25–35 new locations annually but faced challenges in forecasting their performance in first and third year. Our solution reduced prediction errors by half, saving £28.65 million in CAPEX and OPEX.

      Digital Twin for Energy Sector

      We implemented a digital twin to optimize energy processes of a client who owns one of Europe’s largest wind farms, with 240 turbines generating 1,250 GWh annually (equivalent to €87 million). By optimizing the performance of individual turbines, we were able to achieve maximum power generation output.

      KPMG Smart Data Extraction – Extracting Information from Documents

      By combining modern tools, including AI, we developed a solution for extracting structured data from documents such as invoices and contracts. The KPMG Smart Data Extraction tool enables fast, accurate extraction of data needed for further processing and analysis. By introducing the tool and integrating it with bots, we created a reliable solution that needs just 20% of the original manpower.
