Advisory Support in Investment Arbitrations
We provided expert advisory services to investors and defendant states in investment arbitration cases under ICSID and UNCITRAL rules. The cases involved countries from Central Europe, the Balkans, and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Our support included preliminary economic assessments of claims, preparation of expert reports, review of opposing party submissions, assistance with document production requests, and participation in oral hearings.
Expert Reports and Analyses in Investment Arbitrations
We prepared a number of expert reports and analyses in arbitrations concerning solar power plant investments that were triggered by changes in the legislation determining rules of government support for renewable energy sources.
Advisory Support for Squeeze-Out Proceedings
We prepared an expert report for proceedings before a Czech court focused on the valuation of shares in a client’s subsidiary. The valuation was carried out following a squeeze-out of minority shareholders.
