Christoph Betz is jointly responsible for the Financial Services Transformation division and is an expert on strategic, regulatory and procedural issues in the capital market and securities business of banks.
He also heads the ESG practice in the banking sector at KPMG Germany and the KPMG Financial Services ESG Hub in the EMA region. In the area of ESG, his advisory focus is on ESG strategy, governance, management and ESG products.
Before joining KPMG, Christoph Betz worked for many years at leading investment banks, where he was responsible for advising German and Austrian banks with a focus on structured solutions in the fixed income sector.
He began his career as a trader in the fixed income division of a German private bank.
