      As a partner, I am primarily responsible for IFRS conversion projects and the introduction of new IFRS standards, in particular IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. I advise clients on transaction-based accounting issues, in particular in the PE environment and for start-ups, and am a member of KPMG's Capital Markets Group. In this context, I also deal intensively with the accounting of share-based payments.

      2. Education & Qualification

        I graduated from Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg with a degree in business administration. I have been with KPMG since 2005 and have many years of experience in advising clients with extensive knowledge in the field of international accounting (IFRS and US GAAP) and have worked as a project manager/engagement director on numerous IFRS conversion projects, including the establishment of corresponding accounting processes in various industries. I have extensive project experience in connection with transaction-based accounting issues (IPO and transaction preparations as well as post-deal integration) and manage projects to prepare accounting for corporate transactions (sale or IPO).
