Angelika Huber-Straßer has been Managing Partner, Regional Board Member South of KPMG in Germany since June 2021 and in this role is responsible for over 1,800 employees. Also on June 1, 2021, she took over the management of the Audit Committee Institute in Germany, an independent forum and partner for supervisory boards and executives that supports the formation of opinions on corporate governance between politics, academia and practice.
Ms. Huber-Straßer has been with KPMG for over 29 years. During this time, she has held various roles and has audited and advised a large number of companies. Her particular focus is on group audits, especially of DAX40 companies and global groups. As divisional director for the Corporates segment (groups and capital markets), she was most recently responsible for 7 years for all teams responsible for supporting large, listed mandates and clients. These teams are made up of experts from all service areas (Audit, Tax, Consulting and Deal Advisory) and the relevant sector specialists.
In addition to her specialist areas of expertise - in the field of auditing and audit-related consulting as well as topics relating to digital transformation and the creation of a sustainable finance function - Angelika has many years of experience in various industries. Particularly in the automotive sector, the IT industry and the service sector. Against this background, she was Head of Automotive for Germany and EMA from July 2020 to October 2021.
