Bastian has been a Partner Indirect Tax Services in the Berlin office since February 2023 and was previously an Associated Partner at Flick Gocke Schaumburg Berlin for 9 years. He advises on all VAT issues, in particular on the digital economy, e-commerce, crypto and digital assets. He regularly comments and publishes in VAT law literature, lectures on specialised VAT law topics and lectures on VAT law at the University of Potsdam.
