Florian Merkel was one of the initiators of KPMG Venture Services in 2013 and has since provided comprehensive advice to growth companies and venture capitalists on national and international tax law issues. His work focuses on tax advisory and tax structuring projects for corporations and partnerships, in particular the taxation of start-ups, digital business models and venture capitalists. He is also a regular speaker at workshops and conferences and gives lectures on tax issues relating to start-ups and venture capitalists.
