I advise property companies, project developers and investors at KPMG Advisory in Munich on ESG strategies, decarbonisation and sustainable transformation. I have over 15 years’ experience in the property sector. Before returning to KPMG, I was Head of Sustainability at a leading project developer and asset manager. There, I developed and embedded a holistic sustainability strategy within the company, ranging from CO₂ accounting in accordance with the GHG Protocol, through decarbonisation pathways based on CRREM, to CSRD reporting. I now combine this practical experience with my consultancy work, for example in portfolio analyses relating to the EU Taxonomy, climate risk analyses and net-zero strategies. As a DGNB Consultant, I also have expertise in sustainability certification for new and existing buildings. My aim is to translate ESG ambitions into concrete, measurable results, thereby transforming sustainability from a reporting issue into a genuine value driver for property.
