Michael Sauermann is a partner in the Forensic Technology department at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and is responsible for cyber incident response, eDiscovery and forensic data analytics. He supports his clients in dealing with IT security and cybercrime incidents and crisis management. Another focus of his work is the identification, securing, processing, searching and managed review of any data, e.g. in the context of official orders or legal disputes. Forensic mass data analyses also help to identify and clarify signs of fraud and corruption as well as process and control weaknesses.
