      Cologne, 24 March 2025

Four years after the start of construction, the time has come: KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft is moving into its new "Centraal" branch in Cologne in the heart of MesseCity Köln. In the future, almost 1,300 employees will be working in the ultra-modern premises on 18,000 square metres.

The move to our new office is another milestone in our long history in the dynamic economic region of Cologne and a clear commitment to the location. With the branch office in the immediate vicinity of the Cologne-Deutz hub, we are moving even closer to our clients in Cologne and the region. At the same time, we are moving into one of the first office addresses in the Deutz district and offering our employees an inspiring and modern working environment.

      Unique location and top equipment

The new premises are located directly next to the Messebalkon, the lively square in the centre of MesseCity Köln, and are within walking distance of the banks of the Rhine. All the buildings in the new business area around the trade fair were named after European railway stations, including the new KPMG office, which owes its name to Amsterdam's main railway station "Amsterdam Centraal".

The office is easily accessible, particularly by public transport, and is equipped with modern charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and extensive bicycle parking facilities to meet the requirements of sustainable mobility. In addition to more space and high-quality catering facilities, the offices offer a modern working environment that meets the latest standards in terms of client support, digitalisation and sustainability.

      Expansion of regional presence

The Cologne office is one of KPMG's many new and modernised locations in Germany. In recent years, the company has expanded its regional presence by opening new office buildings both in metropolitan centres and across the country. New offices have been opened in Hamburg, Munich, Berlin, Bielefeld, Mannheim and Aachen, among others. KPMG is now represented at a total of 30 locations throughout Germany.
