Maya is a highly motivated professional with 14 years of external audit experience in the insurance and asset management industry; currently working at KPMG in the Crown Dependencies in our Guernsey office, managing a portfolio of clients, including Guernsey-registered market-traded funds, insurance companies and other Public Interest entities.
She graduated from Russian Economic University named under Plekhanov in 2008 and started her career in KPMG Moscow financial services audit. After 5 years of working, she was promoted to position of manager and continued her career in that position in Guernsey.
Maya has consistently demonstrated strong commitment, performance and excellent technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP FRS 101/ 102 accounting standards throughout her career and received strong feedback on her technical skills. She also has relevant experience in US GAAP accounting standards and has maintained her accreditation. In 2019 she was promoted to Senior Manager in Audit and starting from 2021, she is also engaged in Audit Quality Monitoring activities in Caribbean KIG region.
