What You Will be Working on:

  • Develop and evaluate risk strategies, frameworks, and policies.
  • Assess Credit Risk and IFRS 9, including custom rating models and validation of ECL models (PD, LGD, EAD, FLI).
  • Conduct compliance assessments for NBG, Basel, and IFRS requirements.
  • Develop and review ALM, FTP, and Liquidity Risk models, including policies, profitability analysis, and treasury operations.
  • Assess and manage Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, focusing on risk identification and mitigation.
  • Oversee capital planning and Pillar II processes, including ICAAP, risk scorecards, and stress testing.
  • Develop RAROC and Risk-Based Pricing models.

 

What We Look For:

  • High-Education degree, preferably in Economics or Finance.
  • Experience in banking or consulting, with a background in risk management or internal audit (work or educational).
  • Familiarity with market, credit, liquidity, and operational risk modeling, as well as knowledge of the Basel framework and banking regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of R statistics or Python programming.
  • Strong skills in report writing and preparing presentations, along with good analytical abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player with a quick learning ability.
  • Willingness to work intensively, embrace learning opportunities, and travel for business.
  • Full-time commitment.
  • Fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to Have:

  • Additional qualifications such as FRM, PRM, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or other internationally recognized certifications.
  • Experience with RAP, IFRS, or GAAP.
