Vassilis joined KPMG in Greece in 2022 and currently leads the Portfolio Solutions Group within Deal Advisory. He is a CFA charterholder and holds a degree in Statistics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a master’s degree in Banking and Financial Management from the University of Piraeus.
With more than 19 years of experience in the financial services sector, he specializes in complex transactions, including loan portfolio securitizations, non-performing loan transactions and bank mergers. He has led major transactions in the Greek market, working closely with systemic banks, loan servicers, investors and institutional stakeholders. His experience spans the entire transaction lifecycle, from strategy and structuring through negotiation and completion.
Through his role, he has made a significant contribution to strengthening the firm’s position in financial transactions. As Head of Portfolio Solutions, he focuses on delivering comprehensive solutions and building long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
