Árpád is a legal advisor. After graduating from university he worked for 25 years in the then-forming Tax and Financial Control Office (and then in the National Tax and Customs Office from 2011). He rose through the ranks, serving as the organization's deputy chairman for 13 years. In 2016, he joined KPMG, where he deals with tax administration issues as a director. His main task is to maintain contact with the tax authorities, within the framework of which he represents the interests of clients and participates in negotiations before the Ministry of Finance and the Tax and Customs Administration. He teaches at the ELTE tax law specialist training program, and is an honorary associate professor. He is the editor-in-chief of Budget Letters and the author of several articles on tax procedures.
