      About the job

      Candidates will be expected to:

      • Handle and manage several clients/portfolios while in charge of an engagement.
      • Build an understanding of a client’s business and its markets across the globe.
      • Review, check, and analyze financial reports and data.
      • Review and analyze financial control systems.
      • Identify financial risk.
      • Liaise with engagement team members to prepare audit reports, findings, and recommendations.

       

      Desired skills and experience

      • A degree in accounting from an accredited university with a strong academic background and a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
      • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience as an external auditor in a leading public accounting firm.
      • Experience handling financial services clients (e.g., banking, insurance, multi-finance) is a plus.
      • A solid understanding of audit and accounting principles.
      • Proactive and organized, able to manage projects effectively and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
      • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.

      • Execute IT audits, including risk assessments, control evaluations, and compliance testing.
      • Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations and identify potential risks.
      • Work closely with financial auditors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations.
      • Identify inefficiencies in IT systems and propose improvements for operational effectiveness.
      • Prepare clear, concise reports on audit findings and present recommendations to management.
      • Guide junior auditors, share best practices, and contribute to team development.
      • Keep up with emerging IT risks, audit methodologies, and regulatory changes.

       

      Desired skills and experience

      • A degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Accounting or related fields from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
      • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience as an external auditor in a leading public accounting firm.
      • Previous knowledge of, or familiarity with, ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle Finance or Hyperion is a plus.
      • A solid understanding of, or willingness to learn, audit and accounting principles.
      • Proactive and organized, able to manage projects effectively and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
      • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
