Brijendra is a Partner at KPMG in India with over 22 years of consulting and technology implementation experience, specialising in large-scale government transformation programs. He has led numerous IT-enabled transformation initiatives across domains such as citizen service delivery, urban infrastructure, water resources, public health, and public finance management.
Brijendra brings extensive experience across more than 11 Indian states, along with international exposure through engagements in the UAE, Bahamas, and Bangladesh, delivering complex digital and institutional transformation programs.
He leads the GovTech Practice at KPMG in India and has advised Central and State Governments on critical initiatives including digital strategy, enterprise architecture, large-scale IT implementation, ERP transformations, blockchain infrastructure, organizational transformation, and public financial management reforms.
In addition, Brijendra serves as the Lead for AI in Government at KPMG in India, where he drives the strategic adoption and scaling of Artificial Intelligence across public sector ecosystems. He is responsible for shaping AI strategies, establishing AI Centres of Excellence, and enabling responsible and inclusive AI adoption across government institutions. His work focuses on leveraging AI to enhance decision-making, improve service delivery outcomes, strengthen governance, and build data-driven public systems at scale.
