Sandesh has over 25 years of experience assisting clients to optimise and improve their processes, technology, data quality and controls.
His technology experience includes developing and implementing tax compliance, litigation, accounting and reporting solutions for multiple tax jurisdictions and tax types across the globe. He specialises in leading technology-enabled tax transformation initiatives to help global organisations set up centralised/decentralised tax functions with improved processes, data quality, and controls. These engagements focus on end-to-end direct and indirect tax processes, including enhancing data quality through tax sensitising accounting/ERP systems, embedding tax reporting seamlessly in financial close processes and implementing technologies for tax workflows, tax document management and tax process automations.
Prior to joining KPMG in India, Sandesh was Managing Director with KPMG U.S. Ignition practice (tax technology and transformation). He is a KPMG training instructor and a frequent speaker at various events and conferences. He holds an MBA degree from Binghamton State University, USA and BS degree in Computer Engineering from Shivaji University in India.
