Prasanth has over thirty years of work experience in the leadership position in consulting, and services industry. Currently he is a Partner with KPMG in India and leads Digital Engineering and Quality (DEQ) practice and the Sports sector. The practice provides advisory and consulting services to over 50 clients in India and abroad in Digital designs, Software development using lead edge platforms, DevOps and Quality assurance. He also has expertise on the sports with specific focus on usage of Technology in the sector. The sub sectors covered are Sports leagues, manufacturing, government and state bodies, e-sports and corporates wanting to venture into sports sector.
In his overall professional career, he has been involved in business activities in over 25 countries and has undertaken challenging assignments in Strategy, IT transformation, customer centricity, voice of customer and sports consulting.
Prior to joining KPMG in India, he was the vice president in Tech Mahindra. He was based in the UK for over 9 years to initially head the process consulting division for EMEA region and later to lead the initiatives in TIMES (Telecom, Infrastructure, Media, Entertainment and Semiconductor) for UK and Ireland. His initial stint in the firm involved consulting engagements for Japanese firms while being based out of Tokyo. He was also head of Software Quality assurance at Cognizant technology and led the process improvement function for Technology at Ramco Systems.
He has also authored multiple thought leadership and articles around Technology and building sports culture in India. He is also a regular speaker at national and international forums.
His passion includes playing football and grooming youngsters into sports and technology. He has actively played multiple sports like Cricket, Badminton etc., including representing Basingstoke, UK in competitive Badminton league.
