Shalabh has over 26 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, and compliance strategies and has collaborated with multinational corporations and mid-sized businesses to help them navigate complexities, enhance governance, and drive operational efficiencies. As a Partner in Consulting – Risk Advisory at KPMG in India, he specialises in CXO advisory and boardroom governance, internal audit and SOX compliance, risk analytics, enterprise risk management (ERM), process reviews and operational resilience and regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
His industry expertise spans manufacturing, technology and media, financial services, automotive, pharma, consumer, and consumer tech —enabling him to provide tailored risk tools that align with business strategy.
Before joining KPMG in India, Shalabh was a Partner at Grant Thornton Bharat, where he played a key role in expanding national capabilities and strengthening the Governance, Risk, and Operations Consulting practice. He also held multifaceted roles at Axis Risk Consulting (a Genpact company), EY, and the B.K. Birla Group, advising clients across the Americas, Europe, the U.K., and APAC.
