Bernard joined KPMG Kenya in 2002. He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPAK) with over 19 years of post-qualification experience providing accounting and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) advisory services. He assists clients with managing major accounting change projects, finance function reviews, corporate reporting, reconciliation advisory engagements, accounting and payroll outsourcing and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) compliance across various sectors.
Bernard holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Option) both from the University of Nairobi and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) where he served as a member of the Practitioners Development Committee for more than seven years. He is past chairman and member of Vision Institute of Professionals Alumni (VIPA).
