Samwel joined KPMG in 2009 through the Firm’s graduate recruitment program. He has 17 years of professional experience in East Africa and secondment in KPMG US where he worked in the Economic and Valuation Services Department.
He supports clients on a wide range of tax matters including tax compliance, advisory, exemption processes, payroll taxes, refunds, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, and tax reviews.
Samwel is a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA International), a Certified Public Accountant (CPAT) and a registered tax consultant with the Tanzania Revenue Authority. Samwel holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Mzumbe University, Tanzania.
