Edgar has over 30 years of experience and has been a KPMG East Africa partner for over 14 years, specialising in Infrastructure, Government and Health sectors. Edgar served as the KPMG Uganda Country Managing Partner before being assigned the current responsibilities at KPMG East Africa and Africa. He is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA-UK) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Uganda and Rwanda. He is a specialist in providing fiduciary oversight, fund management, (safe pair of hands), governance, designing and formulating the right strategies and programs across the public and private sectors to maximize impact and drive sustainability.
Edgar Leads the KPMG International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) unit across Africa and has been a Team Leader on major donor financed projects addressing matters of Climate and Renewable Energy in Africa.
Edgar is a member of the Global KPMG IDAS steering committee and the Economic growth solution, charged with championing the development agenda in emerging markets, and especially in Africa.
