      Sarah has worked in KPMG for over 17 years providing audit and advisory services to clients including non-government organisations, development agencies, government ministries and departments. Her key skills include providing strategic direction and leadership to teams, strategy formulation and development, business development, risk management, and stakeholder engagement with senior client management and boards, and development partners.

      Sarah’s key areas of experience include financial statements audit, compliance reviews/audits and trainings, project and programme audits, expenditure verifications, pre-grant audits/evaluations, internal controls system review, financial reviews, donor pre-audits, financial capacity assessments, financial spot checks, organisational micro assessments, procurement audits/reviews, budgeting and participatory planning and analysis, performance and value for money audits, fund management and capacity building.

      Sarah holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainability from Nexford University, a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance Option from Maseno University, and Investment and Securities Professional (level II).  She is a Certified Public Accountant, a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), a member of the Association of Women Accountants in Kenya, and a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU). She holds an ACCA certificate in International Public Sector Accounting Standards (CertIPSAS) and an ACCA certificate in Public Financial Management (CertPfM).
