      Erastus is an Advisory Partner in KPMG East Africa’s International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) practice, bringing over 21 years of experience across three global professional services firms. He has led complex programmes across East Africa and the continent, with expertise in programme and portfolio management, fund/grant financial management, monitoring and evaluation, institutional strengthening, and capacity building.

      He is passionate about strengthening health systems and co-leads KPMG’s regional health portfolio. Erastus has advised major global health clients, including the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. He previously managed large-scale health programmes such as Safe Surgery 2020 in Tanzania and Ethiopia, and the Voucher Management Agency (VMA) for Kenya’s Reproductive Health – Output Based Approach (RH-OBA) project, co-funded by the Ministry of Health and KfW.

      Erastus is a Fellow of the Kofi Annan Global Health Leadership Program. He holds an MSc in Public Health (University of London), an MBA and BA in Economics (University of Nairobi), and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K).
