      What we do

      Established in June 2014, the North Korea Business Center comprises specialists from various fields including auditing, tax and financial advisory, and consulting. The center provides North Korea business development and advisory services, including corporate entry and investment/strategic consulting for North Korean markets, government consulting, seminars for North Korean business opportunities, and executive programs for inter-Korean economic cooperation.

      Additionally, to provide specialized information related to North Korean business, the center publishes books and PDF materials on North Korean industries, legal systems, and accounting practices. Key publications include 'North Korean Business Entry Strategy' and 'Practical Guide to North Korean Investment.'

      Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation Executive Program: NK Biz Forum

      'The 'NK Biz Forum' is an executive program for inter-Korean economic cooperation that has been jointly conducted since 2019 by Samjong KPMG, which serves as a 'North Korea Business Advisor' supporting companies in inter-Korean cooperation and North Korea-related business ventures, and the Unification and Culture Research Institute of the JoongAng Ilbo. The program successfully completed its 8th cohort in 2023.

       

      The forum invites North Korea and economic experts, business leaders with North Korean business experience, and former high-ranking North Korean officials to create a platform for sharing North Korea's current policies, markets, and business experiences, thereby providing companies with valuable insights for North Korean business opportunities.
