      Mukhit joined KPMG in 2000 and brings over 20 years of experience in audit and financial reporting advisory, with a strong focus on the oil and gas and mining sectors.

      He leads complex audit and review engagements for some of the region’s largest natural resources companies. His expertise covers accounting advisory related to Oil Operations Accounts and Joint Accounts, as well as the conversion of Joint Accounts into IFRS-compliant financial statements.

      His portfolio includes large multinational groups with sophisticated consolidation structures operating across Kazakhstan and the CIS, including companies that have issued equity and debt securities on international capital markets.

      Mukhit also advises clients on IFRS transition projects, strengthening financial reporting frameworks, governance, and transparency.

      He serves as General Director of KPMG Audit LLP and Head of Audit for KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia. In addition, he oversees the operational effectiveness of the firm’s system of quality management in line with international standards (SoQM).
