Gaukhar joined KPMG in 2014 and has over 10 years of experience in transfer pricing, international, and general taxation. She has extensive experience managing and coordinating projects for large corporate groups and individual companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan across a range of industries, including oil and gas, industrial manufacturing, automotive, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and FMCG. Gaukhar was a member of the working group for the development of amendments to the Republic of Kazakhstan Law No. 67-IV dated 5 July 2008 “On Transfer Pricing.”
Her expertise includes managing projects for the preparation of complete documentation supporting arm’s length compliance in intra-group transactions (including services, royalties, and intra-group loans), developing transfer pricing methodologies, conducting market research to determine arm’s length remuneration for goods, services, works, and intangibles, preparing advisory memoranda, and producing three-tier transfer pricing reporting.
Gaukhar also has extensive experience delivering presentations at professional seminars and webinars on transfer pricing for companies in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan across various economic sectors.
