QazCloud sought to identify opportunities to enter the AI services market and develop a long-term strategy for this new business direction. As a result of the project, a comprehensive AI strategy was created, including a product strategy, commercialization approaches, a financial model, and a roadmap for launching and scaling AI services.
Challenge
Support QazCloud in developing its AI strategy by assessing market potential and the competitive landscape, identifying the most promising customer segments, and establishing the foundation for launching a commercially sustainable AI business.
KPMG Solution
The KPMG team analyzed the market, competitive landscape, and priority industries for the development of AI services. Based on these insights, a target operating model for QazCloud's AI portfolio was developed, encompassing enterprise AI solutions, industry-specific AI services, and infrastructure capabilities powered by the company's computing resources.
Particular emphasis was placed on translating the strategy into actionable implementation. This included defining go-to-market and scaling scenarios for the AI business, identifying the required resources and investment considerations, establishing the partner ecosystem, and outlining the internal process changes needed to support effective cross-functional collaboration..
